Because our leagues often sell out in minutes, we’ve moved to a registration lottery to give everyone a fair shot at playing the sport they love.

Everyone will have a small window to register, after which the lottery will take place.

How It Works

• Timeline: Registration opens approximately 4 weeks before the season starts.

• How to Enter: Captains and Free Agents ("Individual Players") must register AND PAY to enter the lottery. Team Players should wait to register until their Captain notifies them they have secured a spot. If you are not selected, no worries, you'll receive a refund.

• The Draw: After the registration window closes, the lottery takes place in two stages — first the team draw, then the individual player draw.

At least one team spot is always reserved for Individual Players (Free Agents). If enough Free Agents register, you'll be grouped together to form a team. If not enough players sign up to fill a Free Agent team by the Roster Deadline, those spots will be offered to the next Captain in line.

Because of this, Individual Players cannot be guaranteed placement. We'll email you after the Roster Deadline to let you know whether a team was formed.

• Guaranteed Spots: If your team has a Winning SET Record at the time of the lottery draw, you've earned a guaranteed spot back in that league. At least 4 players from that winning roster must return to claim it and the captain must register before the lottery draw to lock it in.

If You Win

• Captains - You will receive a notification email. Make sure Contact@ElevateSportsSD.com is in your contacts! You must respond within 48 HOURS or your spot will be forfeited to the next Captain in line. You will have until the roster deadline to have all your teammates register and complete your roster.

• Players - You will receive a notification email and we will keep you updated on if enough players register to form a team.

If You’re Waitlisted

• Don't lose hope! If a winning team fails to complete their roster by the deadline, they are moved to the waitlist and the next Captain in line will be notified.

Fine Print

• One Entry Per Team Per League: If a Team Player intentionally registers as a Captain as well to improve your chances - THE TEAM WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE LEAGUE. Captains MUST list their players' names at time of registration. Captains can register for multiple leagues.

• Registering as an Individual AND a Team Player: If you want to play no matter what - you’re welcome to sign up as an individual even if you're already registered as a Team Player. If your team ends up on the waitlist, you'll be placed with other individuals to form a "Free Agent" team. Please note, you will be required to pay for both registrations.

• Remaining Spots: If any team/player spots remain after the lottery process, they will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you register for a league that does not match your skill level, either before or at the beginning of the season, we may reach out to offer you a refund or, if available, a spot in a league better suited to you or your team.
