Because our leagues often sell out in minutes, we’ve moved to a registration lottery to give everyone a fair shot at playing the sport they love.
Because our leagues often sell out in minutes, we’ve moved to a registration lottery to give everyone a fair shot at playing the sport they love.
Everyone will have a one-week window to register, after which the lottery will take place.

How It Works
How It Works
Timeline: Registration opens approximately 4 weeks before the season starts.
How to Enter: Captains and Free Agents ("Individual Players") must register AND PAY to enter the lottery. Team Players should wait to register until their Captain secures a spot. If you are not selected, you will receive a refund.
The Draw: After the one-week window closes, the lottery takes place. First the team draw will happen, then the player draw. Depending on registration levels, at least 1 team will always be earmarked for free agent teams, If we don't get enough players to fill a free agent team by the Roster Deadline, we’ll give those spots to the next Captain in line.
Guaranteed Spots: If at the time of the lottery draw your team has a Winning SET Record, you will earn a guaranteed spot if you want it!

If You Win
Captains - You will receive a notification email. Make sure Contact@ElevateSportsSD.com is in your contacts! You must respond within 48 HOURS or your spot will be forfeited to the next Captain in line. You will have until the roster deadline to have all your teammates register and complete your roster.
Players - You will receive a notification email and we will keep you updated on if enough players register to form a team.

Don't lose hope! If a winning team fails to complete their roster by the deadline, they are moved to the waitlist and the next Captain in line will be notified.

One Entry Per Team Per League: If a Team Player attempts to also register as a Captain to improve your chances, THE TEAM WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE LEAGUE. Captains MUST list their players names at time of registration. Captains can register for separate leagues.
Individual Registrations: As a backup, you’re welcome to sign up as an individual even if you’re already on a team. If your team ends up on the waitlist, you'll be placed with other individuals to form a "Free Agent" team.
Remaining Spots: If any team/player spots remain after the lottery process, they will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis
To make sure all games are enjoyable and safe for every player our volleyball leagues are categorized by playing level. This is one of the things that sets Elevate Sports SD apart!

If you register for a league that does not match your skill level, either before or at the beginning of the season, we may reach out to offer you a refund or, if available, a spot in a league better suited to you or your team.
League FAQ
Registration Types
- Individual Player: You would like to be combined with other individuals players to make a team
- Team Player: You know your Captain's name and/or your team name
- Captain: You and your friends are ready to make a full team (6+ people) and you want to take the lead
Every player registers and pays for themselves
All schedules include double headers and bye weeks, all teams play the first week.
Traditional or rotational based substitutions (No "full time" players)
Coed M/F rule: Maximum of 3 males on the court
Waitlist Instructions for a sold out league after the lottery
To get on the team waitlist, have the captain register normally, just skip sending payment. If/when we are able to get you in the league we will notify you.
To get on the individual player waitlist, register normally, just skip sending payment. If a player has to drop their registration due to an injury or other conflict, a player on the waitlist will be given the spot.
